I headed out to McKinney this weekend to see some friends of mine compete in a chuckwagon cookout. It was really cool to see them cooking in dutch ovens and the wagons all decked out in authentic Old West items.

 

Dallas Alley

I think everyone that has ever been in the West End with a camera has taken some variation of this shot. I don’t care. I love it. It’s one of my favorite views.

 

I wonder if this is still there.

I’ll have to make it a point to look next time I head to Beaumont.
