Please be patient with me as I figure things out over in my new web-home!

Honestly, we’re not all cowboys and rednecks. But I still laughed when I saw this.

The ice sculptures on display at the Gaylord Texan are amazing…but the price of admission is a bit much.

I finally broke down and purchased a small point and shoot type camera to keep in my purse. After its injury, carrying around the D80 all the time is just not an option.

This little Finepix does ok, but it feels like such a downgrade. It’s green and cute though, so that has to count for something, right?

With that sweet pose, Duffy earned his place in my photoblog!  Hope everyone had a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

This horse, at the Old Tucson Studios, was quite animated and stirring up lots of dust.

I found this little bird back among the branches of tree in the aviary at the Arizona Sonora Desert Musuem. I think it thought it was hidden, but I was not to be deterred. A few simple moves and I got it!

What a peaceful pretty place to visit. I never knew there were so many different types of cactus. Cactuses? Cacti?

I saw this beautiful kitty today at the Reid Park Zoo in Tucson. She looked a little depressed if you ask me.

If you’re ever in the Tucson area, I definitely recommend a visit to this place. Built in the late 1700s, this Spanish Colonial style mission is a sight to behold. You’ll be blown away by the level of ornate detail inside!
